Khammam District-ENT - follow up case: Patient Baby Shaik Arfa Siddhiqa, D/o Imran Ali, two and half years old, resident of Khammam is suffering from bilateral profound loss of hearing by birth and dumb. D.P. Khammam, brought to the notice of State Medical incharge, TS, who in turn contacted the parents and taken them for treatment with Dr. K. Ram Babu, Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad on 1.3.24. Dr. K. Ram Babu, MS ENT examined the patient and advised for BERA and HAT. Investigations done and reveals that the patient both ears moderately severe to severe hearing loss.. Hearing aid test done and the patient responded good with the hearing aids. On trial basis two hearing aids are provided to the patient today i.e. on 1.3.24. SAHI is provided hearing aids costing Rs. 45,000/-each total cost of Rs.90,000/-to the patient. Doctor explained how to use the hearing aids and advised to come for review after 10 days for review and speech therapy at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Patient and her family members expressed their happiness and gratitude for the services rendered by the organisation members.
