Disaster Management Training was conducted on 17th and 18 th Feb 2024 at Warangal (Urban), Hanamkonda. It started with chanting of Vedam, Bhajans and Jyothi Prajwalana. Sri. Venkateswaralu garu, District President, welcomed all and explained about the usefulness of DM in day to day life. The training started with a brief Introduction about Disaster Management. The theory/demo of Natural Disasters, Disaster Response actions, Critical First Aid, Team formation, Knots, Emergency Rescue Techniques, Rescue from heights I.e., Chair knot and Flying fox demos, Water Rescue techniques, Fire Fighting and demo of commonly used 4 types of fire Extinguishers were covered. It was attended by 36 participants from 5 districts who evinced keen interest in it. The Water Rescue techniques were conducted in a swimming pool. The training sessions were conducted by Sri. Sharath Babu, Sri. Vishnu and Sri. Krishna Kumar.
