Khammam District follow up case: One Smt. Chinthanippu Laxmi (F/45), resident of Thimminenipalem (V), Khammam District is suffering from shortness of breath on exertion with persistent chest pain since last few months. Sri Sudhakar, District President, Khammam sent medical repots of the patient on 6.10.23. Reports indicates that patient is suffering from dilated RA/RV, large OS ASD with severe TR/PAH and Mild MR. Immediately Medical reports have been sent to Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He advised to bring the patient immediately for examination and treatment. Accordingly patient brought to Hyderabad on 11.10.23. Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur examined the patient and advised to admit the patient immediately at Apollo Hospital, Karimnagar. Arrangements have been made to move the patient to Karimnagar and patient admitted on 11.10.23. All necessary investigations and evaluation were done. Patient undergone Coronary Angiogram on 12.10.23 and diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, ASD (Atrial Septal Defect), Severe Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) and advised for ASD closure TV repair. Patient undergone OS ASD closure and Tricuspid Valve repair on 13.10.23. Dr. Anil Kumar Mulpur, did the surgery at Apollo, Hospital, Karimnagar. Procedure and stay in the hospital are uneventful and patient is hemodynamically stable and discharged on 17.10.23 evening with medication.
