Nagar Kurnool District- Chennaram – ENT follow up case Smt. P. Jyothi, (F/27) Patient P.Jyothi (F27), Chitlamgunta (v) Venkateswarapuram, Mahabubnagar District, has hard of hearing in both ears since delivery in 2016. She came to the medical camp conducted at Chennaram, Nagar Kurnool District on 6.8.23. Doctors in the camp advised her for further treatment at higher medical centre. The case referred to the State Medical activity in charge for further action. Accordingly, patient taken to Dr.K. Ram Babu MS (ENT) Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. on 10.8.23. After investigations patient is diagnosed as Bilateral Otosclerosis. and needs surgery. Consent of family members has been taken. Surgical profile is prepared. Patient admitted in Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills Hyderabad on 13.9.23 and underwent left Stapedotomy procedure under general anaesthesia for the left ear under day care. Post OP recovery is uneventful and discharged in stable condition in the same day evening. Dr. K. Ram Babu, MS, DLO did the surgery. .
