Aum Sri Sai Ram With the Divine Blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu, ENT camp has been conducted at Chennaram Medical and Community Centre in Nagar Kurnool District in association with SAHI (Society to Aid the Hearing Impaired). SAHI is a non Government Organisation, consisting of concerned citizens, Philanthropists, ENT Surgeons, Audiologists and hospital management personnel has embarked on a mission to help the less fortunate children from rural areas with hearing problems. This camp is mainly meant for the children below 15 years, who have hearing impairment. Camp started at 11 am. with three times Omkaram, Bhajan. The following Doctors from Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad have rendered seva during the camp: 1. Dr. Ramya 2. Dr. Tejaswini 3. Dr. Bhargav, 4. Dr. Abhimanya Audiologist team: 1. Dr. Srikanth 2. Dr. Charan Coordinators: 1, Sri P.V.Ramana, 2, Snt, Adilaxmi. Abstract details of the camp: 1. 54 patients from neighbouring tribal villages, below age of 15 years who have hearing impairment have benefitted 2. 40 patients have undergone PTA (pure tone hearing tests). 3. Nine patients provided Hearing Aids costing Rs.45000/- each. Dr. Srikanth and Dr. Charan, screened the patients and provided hearing aids. 4. About 14 patients identified for follow up actions viz. Mastoidectomy, Tympanoplasty, Otosclerosis, Cochlear Implantations, Adenotomy, Psychological Evaluation and Speech therapy etc. and advised to come to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for further investigations and procedures. 5. Sri D. Vishnuvardhan Rao, Sri G.Bhaskara Rao, State Medical Activity incharge, Sri G. Narasimhulu State Activity incharge, Jedcherla Sri J. Manohar, and sevadal members from Achempeta attended the program. Camp concluded at 4.30 pm with Harathi. Sairam.
