MEDAK DISTRICT – FOLLOW UP CASE Baby K. Avijna (F/2) D/o Rajenmdra Prasad, Ramayampet (V&M), Medak District, is suffering from Bilateral severe Profound Sensorineural Hearing loss by birth, hard of hearing associated with speech and language delay. Patient has been taken to Dr. K. Ram Babu garu, ENT Surgeon, Apollo Hospital in July, 2022 and all investigations needed done and patient needs Cochlear Implantation Surgery. Necessary approvals have been obtained. Patient is admitted in Apollo Hospital on 12.2.23 and Right ear Cochlear Implantation surgery done on 13.2.23.by Dr. Vijay Kumar E.C. MBBS, DLO, MS ENT. Post OP recovery uneventful and patient is discharged in stable condition on 14.2.23. Family members of the patient expressed their gratitude to Swamy for the services rendered by the organisational members. This is the second case from Medak. A similar case from Medak District, Patient Baby S. Sri Keerthika, (F/4), D/o Ashok undergone Cochlear Implantation surgery on 14.12.22.
